Things have only gotten stranger in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's divorce case. As RadarOnline.com has learned, the stars' custody trial judge is actually the same man who officiated their wedding!
According to The Blast, the actors chose the retired judge to help them hash out their legal troubles when they first split, and were recently given approval by the Los Angeles court to keep their upcoming custody trial private.
As readers know, it was Honorable John Ouderkirk who married Jolie, 43, and Pitt, 54, on August 23, 2014 in front of their five children, at their Château Miraval estate. However, when the couple broke up and their custody battle got ugly, he ordered the actress to let her ex spend more time with the kids — warning her that she could lose custody.
Ever since, sources told The Blast, Jolie has not been a fan of Ouderkirk, and was not too happy when he continued ruling on their custody case. However, he has reportedly been extremely fair to both parties.
