Bode Miller's heartbroken wife Morgan Beck is speaking out for the first time since her young daughter's tragic drowning death, urging parents to take strict precautions, and make every moment count.
In a heart-wrenching Instagram post, Beck, 31, shared a sweet snow photo of her now-deceased baby girl, Emeline. "It's been 37 days since I've held my baby girl. I pray to God no other parent feels this pain. My heart is with you @nicolehughes8 as we walk this journey together. And thank you @scarymommy for helping us spread awareness," she wrote, naming another mother who lost her child to accidental drowning.
"PLEASE READ! Link in bio! Drowning is the NUMBER ONE cause of death in children ages 1-4. We talk about vaccinations, car seats, organic foods, screen time, etc at length...but not the number one risk your children's lives face...a silent killer. It takes SECONDS. Please share and help us spread awareness. It's the first step to preventing these types of tragedies," she continued.
RadarOnline.com readers know the former pro volleyball player and her alpine ski racer husband, 40, lost their 19-month-old daughter on June 10, after she fell into a neighbor's pool and was unable to get out.
"We are beyond devastated. Our baby girl, Emmy, passed away yesterday," they wrote in a joint-statement following the baby's sudden death. "Never in a million years did we think we would experience a pain like this. Her love, her light, her spirit will never be forgotten."
The couple will welcome their fifth child this October.
