Bode Miller's Toddler Daughter May Not Undergo Autopsy After Tragic Drowning Death

Two days after tragic death of Olympic skier Bode Miller’s 19-month old daughter, officials with the Orange County Coroner's Office are determining whether they need to conduct an autopsy, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.

According to the Orange County Sheriff's Department Public Information Officer Carrie Braun, an autopsy has not yet been conducted on the toddler, who tragically drowned over the weekend.

Braun revealed to RadarOnline.com that following the horrific incident, Emiline Grier Miller was rushed to a local hospital, where she later died.

"When someone dies under the care of a physician, we don't necessarily have to perform an autopsy in every case," Braun told RadarOnline.com.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the death is currently under investigation, though cops believe it was just a horrible accident.

The child passed away on Sunday, June 10 after falling into a neighbor’s backyard pool in the exclusive Coto De Caza neighborhood.

“We are beyond devastated. Our baby girl, Emmy, passed away yesterday. Never in a million years did we think we would experience a pain like this,” Miller and his professional volleyball player wife, Morgan Beck, wrote in a joint statement last night. “Her love, her light, her spirit will never be forgotten. Our little girl loved life and lived it to it’s fullest everyday. Our family respectfully requests privacy during this painful time.”

As the family grieves, Friends have started a GoFundMe to help the Millers with costs relating to the tragedy.

"As the family navigates through the path of grief and sorrow that no parents should ever have to experience, I would like to call on the community and ask to help take the burden off of the mountainous medical bills that will soon pile in and the memorial service costs," Lindsey Meehleis wrote. "Any amount helps."

Miller, 40, and Beck, 31, are expecting another child in October.
