Young, 30, and Lambert, 31, have been friends for years, and he opened for her during her On Fire tour in 2012. According to reports, their closeness ate away at Shelton, who even questioned whether his wife had been unfaithful with Young.

Insiders told RadarOnline.com, however, that Lambert and Young were only friends, and her split with Shelton, 39, is amicable, if devastating.
