As RadarOnline.com reported, Paxton hid what was supposed to be a lifesaving procedure from some loved ones so his Feb. 25 death came as a shock.

"We didn't even know he was going to go into surgery," Jon Otten, who is married Paxton's sister, Ann, told RadarOnline.com. "It's very tragic and sudden."

Paxton claimed shortly before his death that his heart issues were the result of suffering rheumatic fever as a child.
