Paxton showed up for his last red carpet at the NAACP Image Awards earlier this month.
Paxton enjoyed the NAACP event with his TV Training Day co-stars, Justin Cornwell and Lex Scott Davis. No one could have imagined he would soon be gone.
The Big Love actor, who excelled on television and in numerous movie roles, beamed at the 48th annual NAACP Image Awards at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Feb. 11.
Paxton, who was born in Texas, arrived on the red carpet with his two co-stars from the CBS TV show Training Day.
The only actor to have been "killed" on screen by a predator, a terminator, and an alien, Paxton always looked like he was in a good mood in his private time.
For his last event, Paxton dressed in a navy two-piece suit and a pale blue shirt and tie with brown Oxford lace-ups.
As RadarOnline.com reported on Oscar Sunday, Paxton's family reportedly broke the sad news, "It is with heavy hearts we share the news that Bill Paxton has passed away due to complications from surgery." He is survived by his wife Louise Newbury.
