Health Scare: 'Biggest Loser' Coach Bob Harper Suffers Severe Heart Attack
Biggest Loser host and famed fitness trainer Bob Harper is currently recovering from a serious heart attack that left him completely unconscious for two days, RadarOnline.com has learned.
According to reports, the 51-year-old collapsed while working out in a New York City gym earlier this month. Luckily, a doctor who happened to be in the gym at the time, performed CPR on Harper.
The fitness guru revealed he spent a total of eight days in a local hospital, and has yet to be cleared to travel home to Los Angeles.
"It is very scary but runs in his family," a source said of Harper's health scare, revealing he's currently "on the mend."
Could the stress of his high-stress TV show have something to do with Harper's heart attack? As RadarOnline.com previously reported, former contestants accuse the show's staffers and producers of abuse and being "corrupt" last year.
The sensational claims included a bombshell charge that Harper handed out illegal drugs to suppress contestants' appetites and encourage weight loss.
