Things may have exploded behind the scenes of The Big Bang Theory — but the cast is more than willing to rediscover their onscreen chemistry for a big-bucks spinoff!
Kunal Nayyar spilled at this summer’s Comic-Con in San Diego that the show’s ending — with him as the lone remaining single character — sets up the perfect scenario for more Bangin’ in a new show.
“It leaves room for a spinoff,” he said. “You get to explore different aspects and have many potential guest stars. Instead of ‘Young Sheldon,’ it’ll be ‘Old and Fat Raj.’”
And at least three others would be at the table should “Fat Raj” come to fruition!
“Secondary cast members like Simon Helberg, Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch would like nothing more than to keep the gravy train going,” the source told Radar of the savvy business people they are behind the scenes.
“They know they may never get roles like this again and are making sure they end on a high note — so fans want more!”
