Caught In A Lie? Ashley Jacobs Claims She’s Not Returning To ‘Southern Charm’

Caught in a lie?

Ashley Jacobs announced that she is not returning to Southern Charm after her boyfriend Thomas Ravenel was fired from the Bravo show, but sources told RadarOnline.com exclusively that she “was not telling the truth” about being invited back.

“After a lot of prayerful consideration, I have decided not to return to Southern Charm next season,” Jacobs wrote on her Instagram page after her boyfriend was axed from the show after his sex assault charges were made public.

“Honestly I considered filming again because I desperately want to tell my side of the story. But after experiencing how unfair the editing process can be, I don’t think I’ll ever have a fair shot,” she explained.

“Ashley was not a cast member so there would be no conversation of her returning or not,” a source close to the network told RadarOnline.com.

“She is not telling the truth,” another source close to the show told RadarOnline.com about Jacobs’ assertion that she made the decision not to return to Southern Charm.

Her boyfriend Ravenel used the same excuse for not returning to Southern Charm after sources told RadarOnline.com that he was not invited back to the show.

“I’m not doing the show anymore,” he previously Tweeted. “In the contract they have the right to fictionalize your story. They took advantage of me. I decided that I’ve got too much to lose and informed them I’m not coming back.”

According to sources, Jacobs was not asked to return to the show.

“Contracts went out after the reunion. Thomas didn’t get one and neither did Ashley,” an insider snitched to RadarOnline.com.

“The cast, and especially Patricia and Kathryn did not want to film with Ashley.”

Patricia Altschul Tweeted that rumors of Jacob’s return to the show were false.

Jacobs offered her excuse for not returning to the show.

“I’ve been blessed with an amazing career, family, & friends and I don’t want to put those things in jeopardy for a reality tv show. I appreciate you all following me throughout this journey.”
