A freshly-rehabbed Artie Lange appeared in court this morning in his ongoing drug possession case for a probation interview, RadarOnline.com can report.
“He came in and was interviewed by a probation officer for his pre-sentencing report,” a clerk for the New Jersey court told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “A probation officer sat with him and interviewed him to prepare for his sentencing court date.”
“They ask certain questions like where he lives to prepare a file that then goes to the judge.”
Though Howard Stern’s former sidekick was expected to be sentenced today, the date has been pushed back to May 18, the clerk confirmed.
Lange took to Twitter after the interview to update fans.
“It went great…I saw the judge who is very fair. She said I looked better!” he said.
He also posted a new photo of himself looking healthier.
Lange was arrested in March 2017 for heroin and cocaine possession, and then was arrested again that December for missing numerous court dates.
After suffering a health crisis that nearly killed him, he was shipped off to rehab. He is now sober, he says.
