Artie Lange is now working as a garbage man in a local New Jersey community as part of his mandated drug court program, RadarOnline.com has learned.

A shocking video surfacing from Lange's official Facebook page shows the troubled funnyman dressed up in a yellow vest as he latches on to a garbage truck and is driven away.

"You're going to keep this quiet right, I'm sure," Lange, 51, can be heard telling the cameraman who was taping him.

He then tells the man: "All right, I love you," before taking off.

Since Lange has limited access to the internet while completing the program, a rep posted the video on his behalf.

"Just heard from Artie," the rep revealed. "Someone snapped this video and it got back to him. He wanted everyone to know he’s fine with it."

The rep went on to release a statement from Lange that read: “It’s true I’m working to satisfy my drug court program. I work with great people. Nothing wrong with a little hard work. Love you all and can’t wait to be back on stage."

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Lange was arrested this March after failing his probation and testing positive for cocaine.

He then entered into a one-month outpatient program, before being transferred to a six month drug court program ordered by the Essex County court.

The troubled comic is currently staying at a halfway house as he completes the program. Lange is due to finish in August.
