Ariana Grande is moving-on from Pete Davidson.
The performer released a new song ‘Thank u, next’ just before the comic took to the stage on Saturday Night Live.
It is understood to have been about her former fiancé and late rapper Mac Miller.
Although Grande did not take a direct dig at Davidson the lyrics are still very poignant.
She sings: “Got so much love ..... got so much patience ..... I've learnt from the pain ..... and turnt out amazin ..... say I've loved and I've lost ..... but that's not what I see cause look what I got ..... look what you taught me. Cause look what I found ..... ain't no need for searching and for that I say ..... thank u, next."
Ironically, Davidson paid tribute to his former love during his SNL appearance last night.
Saturday night's episode was the first since he broke off their engagement in mid-October.
And Davidson talked openly about his former love when he appeared on the Weekend Update.
He joked that he started paying attention to the midterms 'after I had to move back in with my mom'.
Davidson added: “I know some of you are curious about the breakup, but the truth is it's really nobody's business, and sometimes things just don't work out.
“She's a wonderful, strong person and I genuinely wish her all the happiness in the world. Now please, go vote on Tuesday.”
