Ariana Grande was blindsided by the news of the death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.

“Ariana just found out as did the family,” a source close to the singer told RadarOnline.com.

Miller passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 from a suspected overdose.

The couple broke up in May after two years of dating and had a contentious relationship. Miller was by her side after the bombing at her Manchester concert, but following their split they did not remain friends.

They were not on good terms at the end,” the insider told RadarOnline.com about Grande and Miller.

“And to my knowledge they did not have closure.”

Fans reacted to Miller’s tragic death by blaming Grande, leaving her so many hateful messages on her Instagram that she disabled comments.

“This is your fault,” one person wrote, and another slammed her saying: “Damn u killed the homie.” Another mean comment read: “You lowkey evil.”

Miller was 26 when he died.
