Ariana Grande’s comedian friend was arrested for drug possession while her fiancé Pete Davidson was in the car, and RadarOnline.com has exclusive details about why the singer may be in danger.

An arrest report obtained by RadarOnline.com showed the engaged couple’s friend, Joseph Gay, 47, was pulled over at 4:25 a.m. on August 11 in Fayetteville, New York for being in possession of drugs.

Gay, a comedian from New Jersey, was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. Grande’s husband-to-be was also listed as an “associated person” on the report. Davidson, however, was not arrested.

The report cited Gay’s condition at the time of the arrest as “impaired” by drugs but it does not list what substances he was allegedly using.

The comedian documented his arrest moments before he was placed in handcuffs on his Instagram story, shown above. The video shows the interior of a car with police lights in the distance as a man yells, “We are not going to make it!”

Now, RadarOnline.com has learned that the “No Tears Left To Cry” singer needs to be careful who she’s hanging around! RadarOnline.com has learned she not only is close with Gay – but has even driven in a car with him behind the wheel.

Shown above, Grande, 25, is in the passenger seat with Gay, on July 25. She commented, “I adore u !!! other duos r shaking except pete and griffin”

It appears the comedian’s arrest did not change his bad habits. On Aug. 15, Gay confessed to being “high” on Instagram.
