Angelina Jolie is planning another humanitarian visit to a refugee camp in the war-torn Middle East as part of a secret offensive to rehab her image and swing her bitter custody fight with Brad Pitt back in her favor!
According to a source, Jolie, 43, is lining up a return trip to a camp in Jordan, where displaced Syrians have fled to escape violence, and she’s hoping to reap some positive publicity in the process.
“Angelina has battled to portray herself as a perfect mother from the start of this custody battle,” a source exclusively shared with RadarOnline.com of the actress, who recently hired new lawyers in her divorce battle with Pitt.
“Her latest move is going to be returning to a refugee camp for Syrians, since she knows it’s a perfect photogenic moment for the world’s media that will portray her as a caring mother.”
And, continued the source, “she thinks the more photos like that that are out there, the better chance she has in winning full custody of her and Brad’s kids.”
As RadarOnline.com reported, earlier in the summer a judge put Jolie on notice when he stated she could lose primary custody of Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12 and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox if she continued to remain “closed down to their father” and kept limiting the time Pitt could have them.
The two recently reached an interim agreement, but the case is far from closed.
“Brad won't hesitate to fight dirty if he has to in this custody battle,” said the source, “but he’s no match for Angelina, who has been trying portray herself in as positive a light as possible from the beginning of their split.”
Added the source: “She knows nobody can criticize humanitarian work and it will play out well in terms of great public relations — and, more importantly, could impress any judge in a custody hearing.”
