Tenuous Truce? Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Reach 'Interim Custody Arrangement'
Is Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's bitter custody battle over their six children over?
According to ET, the two recently reached an interim custody arrangement, a source said.
Jolie, 43, and Pitt, 54, had a planned custody hearing though it was no longer necessary after reaching the agreement, the insider also told ET.
The website had no details on the specifics of the agreement.
However, the source noted, "The interim arrangement was agreed upon by both parties after it was recommended by their custody evaluator. There was no longer a need for the hearing."
This is great news for Jolie and Pitt's kids, who, as RadarOnline.com has reported, have been suffering terribly during their parents’ epic divorce and custody battle.
As mom and dad battle it out, kids Maddox, 17, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 10, have been devastated, a source said.
"This has been going on for such a long time now," the insider told RadarOnline.com. "No amount of money or help from nannies can take away from how heartbreaking it is to see their parents at war like this."

The divorce of the Mr. & Mrs. Smith costars has been ugly, with both sides arguing over money and the future of their splintered family.
During the vicious dispute, Jolie has accused Pitt of not paying her enough child support over the past two years. The actor then slammed back, saying he actually gave her a loan of $8 million to buy her L.A. mansion and gave her an additional $1.3 million for their children.
But now, it appears that the warring couple has called a truce, at least for now.
The ET source said that "Angelina is enjoying the last few days of summer before school starts…she is helping the children heal with their father."
Reps for Jolie and Pitt haven't yet commented on the report.
