Everyone is weighing on the feud between Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall – even outspoken show host Andy Cohen!
During his Andy Cohen Live on SiriusXM talk this Monday, Parker's good pal Cohen, 49, voiced his thoughts on the so-called catfight. As expected, he's team Carrie all the way.
"I thought it was fake," began the TV comedian. "I was like, 'There's no way Kim Cattrall has posted this on her Instagram.'"
Speaking of Cattrall's explosive comment against Parker, 52, Cohen added: "This is a woman who is in the middle of grieving the loss of her brother, which is tragic and sad. She accused SJP of exploiting a tragedy!"
As RadarOnline.com readers know, a livid Cattrall, 61, fired back at her former Sex and the City costar when she voiced her condolences after her brother's passing.
"I don't need your love or support at this tragic time @sarahjessicaparker," Cattrall viciously responded at the time. "Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven't already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I'm writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your 'nice girl' persona."
Defending Parker, Cohen told his listeners: "She expressed her condolences in the post! I would not call that 'exploiting a tragedy.' What was she supposed to do? Say something bad? I mean I don't understand."
"I also don't like it that people are characterizing this as a catfight," added the host. "There's only one person fighting here."
Cohen then added that despite what Cattrall has said about Parker's mistreatment of her, the Divorce star "only said the nicest things about her" on her latest appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
"It's a catfight of one from where I stand," concluded Andy Cohen.
