Break For Baby! Workaholic Andy Cohen ‘Taking Time Off’ For Daddy Duty
The housewives are likely going to have to mediate their OWN drama in the new year, as RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned Andy Cohen is taking time off to focus on his newborn baby.
“Andy is going to take some time off, and even after, will really slow down on his work responsibilities,” a source close to the expectant single dad told RadarOnline.com.
Unlike many celebs and executives, Cohen, 50, will not rely on help to raise his child, who will be born via surrogate in about six weeks.
“He wants to be a hands-on father," the source insisted. "He does not want to have his child raised by nannies.”
After years of hosting WWHL while still serving as Bravo executive producer and SiriusXM radio host, friends are "relieved" he will be slowing down.
“Everyone believes this will be so good for him because he needs to really just take a breather," the source said, adding that friends still fear he could be overwhelmed by raising a newborn baby on his own.
