Amber Portwood’s Family ‘Relieved’ She Didn’t Get Pregnant With Deadbeat Ex

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Amber Portwood’s family is more relieved than shocked over her sudden pregnancy. A source close to the Teen Mom OG star exclusively revealed to RadarOnline.com that her family would rather she welcome a child with new boyfriend Andrew Glennon than ex-fiancé Matt Baier.

“If it was inevitable and she had to get pregnant with either Andrew or Matt, it’s safe to say her family would feel more comfortable with the current situation,” the insider told RadarOnline.com. “Her family respected Matt, but from day one the whole family thought there was something fishy about the relationship.”

“They were never fully comfortable with him dating Amber,” the source added.

Portwood, 27, dumped Baier in May when he failed a lie detector test after cheating rumors surfaced. Despite their broken engagement, the two continued to live together and appeared on Marriage Boot Camp to save their relationship.

After filming, Portwood revealed over Instagram that they had split for good. He jetted off to Las Vegas to compete in the World Series of Poker in July.

Baier has also come under fire throughout the years for having at least nine children with seven different women.

In August, RadarOnline.com exclusively revealed video of Portwood getting cozy with Glennon while filming for TMOG.

RadarOnline.com broke the news earlier this month that she’s expecting.

“It was totally unexpected, but she is really excited,” a source close to Portwood told RadarOnline.com. “She’s been feeling really sick lately, but her spirits are good.”
