Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown’s battle to stay sober is not going to end when he is released from rehab!

RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the 37-year-old son of Billy, 65, and Ami Brown, 54 — who voluntarily entered in-patient treatment for substance abuse nearly one month ago — will be “hiring a sober coach to work with him on the outside after he gets out of rehab.”

“His family has been visiting him and he is doing great," the insider told RadarOnline.com. "But Matt thinks that he is ready to leave after 30 days and everyone is urging him to stay in. He says that he is almost ready and can handle this on his own now."

The source added, “While his father and mother are fully supportive of him, they are really hoping that Matt stay focused on his sobriety when he is out of rehab and that he continues going to meetings and seeing a therapist.”

As fans know, this is the second time that Matt has entered rehab in hopes of overcoming his demons.

After his first stint at rehab in 2016, the eldest Brown sibling discussed his downward spiral with his fans and said, “I could see myself spiraling. I was more withdrawn. I was slower. Things did not excite me the way that they used to.”

People Magazine was the first to report the news. Before entering, Matt told the outlet, "I struggle with substance abuse, and after a year of ups and downs, I decided to return to treatment. I am really grateful for everyone’s support and hope to have my life back on track soon.”

RadarOnline.com was the first to report that Alaskan Bush People will be returning for another season. Matt’s rehab journey is expected to become a major part of season nine’s plot.
