The source added, “While his father and mother are fully supportive of him, they are really hoping that Matt stay focused on his sobriety when he is out of rehab and that he continues going to meetings and seeing a therapist.”

As fans know, this is the second time that Matt has entered rehab in hopes of overcoming his demons.

After his first stint at rehab in 2016, the eldest Brown sibling discussed his downward spiral with his fans and said, “I could see myself spiraling. I was more withdrawn. I was slower. Things did not excite me the way that they used to.”

People Magazine was the first to report the news. Before entering, Matt told the outlet, "I struggle with substance abuse, and after a year of ups and downs, I decided to return to treatment. I am really grateful for everyone’s support and hope to have my life back on track soon.” was the first to report that Alaskan Bush People will be returning for another season. Matt’s rehab journey is expected to become a major part of season nine’s plot.
