Ami Brown has been blessed with a miracle recovery from cancer, a source close to the Alaskan Bush People matriarch exclusively told RadarOnline.com.
After being given a "less than three percent" chance of survival from deadly stage-four lung cancer last year, RadarOnline.com has learned the wife of Billy Brown, 64, is now in remission — and she is crediting her family and faith in God with saving her life.
According to a source, Ami learned of her new lease on life after recent testing in Los Angeles, California.
"Ami is doing amazing, and she's ready to show everyone that miracles do happen. Her doctors are all dumbfounded at how she was able to almost beat this when she was in such a bad state last year."
"But she did, and she is looking forward now to getting on with the rest of her life," the source told RadarOnline.com.
"This whole experience has been a total wake up call for Amy and for everyone in the Brown family. It has also made her and Billy closer."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, when last season ended, Billy told his kids that their mother Ami's condition was "not good."
Alaskan Bush People fans will get to see Ami's entire journey unfold on the upcoming season premiere, which airs August 19 on Discovery.
Do you think that Ami Brown's faith and family are the what caused her miraculous recovery?
