TV Fakery, Divorce, Criminal Charges & More: Yolanda Hadid's Secrets Exposed

Between her Lyme disease and divorce from David Foster, Yolanda Hadid has been rocked by a series of major scandals in recent seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. We've picked the ten most shocking!
Hadid, 52, was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012. Although at first her RHOBH costars had her back, some eventually accused her of faking the potentially fatal disease! Costar Taylor Armstrong stirred up some drama when she expressed suspicions over Hadid's disease. "What's going on with Yolanda? I'm so like confused. It seems strange to me that she's like, happy selfie, sick selfie, happy selfie, sick selfie," she said on an episode in December 2015. "And also like, I'm trying to follow her on Instagram but I don't like seeing the whole needle in the arm thing all the time. It's a little much. It seems like there's a lot of back and forth. I don't understand. Normally people just do some antibiotics, they move on but this to me, I'm smelling misdiagnoses."
Hadid shot back on her Bravo blog: "What I saw on the show tonight was…IGNORANCE. Maybe it should anger me, but instead it makes me want to fight harder and speak louder for those whose voices can't be heard," she confessed. "Before being a Housewife and suffering from a chronic illness, I was a Super Mom."
Later on in the season, Lisa Rinna even implied that the mother-of-three has Munchausen syndrome – meaning that the disease was all in her head! Amid the drama, Rinna maintained that her hairdresser had started the rumor, but it remains unclear who the culprit is.
Amid her battles with the disease, Hadid has flown all around the world looking for a cure. Such endeavors don't come cheap, however. A few short months before her divorce from Foster, the then-couple sold their posh Malibu mansion. Insiders said the couple was spending thousands on Lyme disease treatments.
After marrying in 2011, Hadid and Foster called it quits on their four-year marriage in late 2015.
Hadid, who shed the name Foster shortly after the split, told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live that her disease might have been the reason for her marriage meltdown.

"Well, chronic long-term illness is extremely challenging," she said, implying that her Lyme disease diagnosis caused marital issues. "Not only for the person who is sick but also for the caregiver. It for sure changed the dynamic of the relationship."

She also claimed that her inability to move around because of her Lyme disease put a strain on the relationship. Hadid said in her confessional, "David has lost his wingman. He married a woman who was a social butterfly always out and doing and doing … Then all of sudden I got sick."

Foster, 66, was also under strain. "His label deal through UMG is shutting down," another source previously told RadarOnline.com. "Seems they haven't made a dime, and he is blaming Yolanda's participation in Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for the failure."
