Women are flocking to see Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio’s old Hollywood love nest.
RadarOnline.com can reveal that female fans are lining-up to visit the historic residence in the Hollywood Hills that is on sale for $2.7 million.
The Mediterranean style abode is one of the many homes that the iconic blonde lived in during her ill-fated career.
Realtor Neal Baddin of Coldwell Banker told RadarOnline.com: “I am getting a tremendous amount of interest from young people especially young women in Hollywood.
“It’s amazing to see them come into the house and absolutely become extremely emotional.
“I guess it shows that Marilyn Monroe will always stay an ageless icon to the world.”
The star lived in the home in 1952, at the time that she began her romance with baseball great Joe DiMaggio.
The famous pair two married in 1954, but Monroe filed for divorce nine months later.
Monroe died in in 1962 aged only 36 leaving DiMaggio heartbroken as he claimed that he had always loved her.
Built in a scenic setting the 1930’s the home sits beside the Hollywood Bowl in the Outpost Estates neighborhood.
Perched on a hillside lot, it has two levels, with multiple balconies and a large wooden deck below, which affords stunning views.
