Joel McHale, 44, stars as a reporter assigned to manage millenials at a web-only magazine on The Great Indoors (CBS, Thursdays, 8:30 p.m.). But off-screen, he attempted suicide several times and told sexual abuse survivors to "grow up" because "self-pity is the ugliest emotion."

Ted Danson, 68, appears opposite Kristen Bell on The Good Place (NBC, Thursdays, 8:30 p.m.), but is up to bad behavior off-screen! He sported blackface at a Whoopi Goldberg roast in 1993 — infamously upsetting Halle Berry and Montel Williams!

Damon Wayans, 56, is starring in FOX's Lethal Weapon remake (Wednesdays at 8 p.m.) after slamming Bill Cosby's sexual assault victims, calling them "un-rape-able" and criticizing their silence.

Kiefer Sutherland, 49, plays a lower-level cabinet member who becomes in charge of the government after a terrorist attack on Designated Survivor (ABC, Wednesdays, 10 p.m.). He spent 48 days in jail for DUI and violating his probation in 2007, and heat-butted designer Jack McCullough in the same year. He also attacked a Christmas tree in 2006!

Michael Weatherly, 48, stars on CBS's Bull (Tuesdays, 9 p.m.) as a trial consultant — and has had his fair share of courtroom drama in real life, too! He was arrested for DUI in November 2015 and was sentenced to three years probation, a three-month alcohol program and a Mothers Against Drunk Drivers course.

Melissa Benoist, 28, stars on The CW hit Supergirl (Mondays, 8 p.m.), but her nude photo scandal was far from heroic! Hackers leaked Benoist's personal photos of her and an ex-boyfriend having raunchy sex in 2014, while she was starring on Glee.
