Bobbi Kristina Brown's former boyfriend Nick Gordon collapsed during an emotional visit to her grave, insisting he had nothing to do with the circumstances that brought her there.

Gordon visited Brown's grave at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, N.J. on August 17, and RadarOnline.com has the emotional photos.

Nick went there to face his demons," a source told Radar. "He needed closure. He knew he had to make the journey to the grave to say goodbye -- particularly after he was banned for six months from visiting her in the hospital or paying his final respects to her in the hospice."

The day of his visit, "The cemetery was eerily empty," an eyewitness told Radar.

"Nick came silently out of the car clutching two bouquets of short-stemmed roses, one pink and the other red, as well as several pictures of himself with Krissi."

"On his forearm, you could see a tattoo that read, 'Bobbi Kristina,'" the source noted.

"He appeared to stand frozen at her grave for a few moments," the eyewitness continued.

"In an emotional collapse, he then broke down and stretched out his body on the length of the grave," the eyewitness said.

After about 15 minutes of tearful reflection, he stood to leave, wiping away tears.
