Lady Gaga, 31, was the first big name to appear on the red carpet this year. Dressed all in black Gaga wore a white rose in support of the Time's Up movement. She wore a voluminous skirt and a full-body sheer bodysuit with her blonde hair tied back. The star, who is nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album for Joanne and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Million Reasons," will perform a track from her latest album.
Sir Elton John, 70, and his husband David Furnish, 55, wore colorful suits on the red carpet. The singer has just announced that he's going to retire after his forthcoming tour that will take three years to complete. He said: "I felt it was time and I am looking forward to spending more time with my boys." Sir Elton will perform with Miley Cyrus at tonight's Grammy Awards.
Kelly Clarkson, 35, carried a white rose and wore a long black dress with gold and silver detailing. She wore her hair in a long ponytail and had star gold earrings. This year she's nominated for best solo performance for "Love So Soft"
James Corden, 39, who is hosting the Grammy Awards tonight, was in a fun mood. Wearing a blue suit he said: "I'm just really excited, I mean with all this talent on stage they do not really need me!
British singer Sam Smith, 25, looked very thin in an all green suit with a sweater. Smith is set to sing at tonight's awards and he admitted that he was a little nervous. He said: "I always get nervous but that is ok, I'm looking forward to it as well.

Cardi B, 25, wore a white angel style dress and admitted she would like to get married to Migos artist Offset. She said: "We want to get married but we are just so busy but he bought me a $500,000 ring, so, I know that he loves me."
Janelle Monae, 32, dazzled on the red carpet wearing a black tuxedo with some flower detailing on the sleeves with her hair slicked over to the side.
Anna Kendrick, 32, wore a check suit with a black lace bodice with pink high heels on the red carpet. Her hair was swept down and she wore a white rose in support of the Time's Up Movement.
Nick Jonas, 25, wore a coat and a black t-shirt on the red carpet but he dispelled rumors that he was getting back together with his brothers Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas. He said: "Right now there's no reunion planned. But never say never — you never know what's going to happen."
Pink, 38, dazzled on the carpet wearing a multi-colored feather dress as she brought her baby son Jameson, daughter Willow Sage and her husband Carey Hart along to the awards.
Kesha, 30, wore a blue suit with cream shirt and silver boots on the red carpet. Her performance of "Praying" might be the actual protest of the night. The singer, who saw her career stalled for years after going public with allegations of abuse against her mentor, superstar producer Dr. Luke, returned in 2017 with a No. 1 album in "Rainbow."
