Ryan Edwards is coming home. The Teen Mom OG dad has been in jail since his January 2019 arrest for heroin and theft charges.
Now, his father, Larry, is exclusively revealing to RadarOnline.com the family’s excitement over Ryan returning home from behind bars next week.
Almost Time!
“I’m excited to see him,” Larry told RadarOnline.com. “I’ve missed him. We’re all doing great.”
Away For Months
Larry, mom Jen, and wife Mackenzie haven't seen him since he was arrested for the shocking crimes in January 2019.
Little Contact
“No, I haven’t visited him,” he told RadarOnline.com. “At jail it’s not like on TV. You go into a room. It’s a video. He sits in one room and the family is in another.”
Short Calls
Larry has spoken to his son over the phone during the jail stint.
How’s Ryan?
“Ryan is excited to come home and be with all of us,” he said. “He said he’s missed us and he loves us. I’m excited. It’s been a long time.”
Dad Is Back!
Larry revealed Ryan is excited to see his son Jagger, who he welcomed in October 2018 with wife Mackenzie, Bentley, 10, from a previous relationship with ex Maci Bookout, and stepson Hudson.
Legal Troubles
Ryan was arrested on January 23, 2019 for outstanding warrants. He was charged with simple possession of heroin executed by Red Bank. The clerk clarified he broke probation from a past 2017 possession of heroin charge.
Another Arrest Warrant
He also had a warrant from Hamilton County for theft of services under $1,000.
Police Report Exposed
In a police report obtained from Chattanooga Police Department, a Bud’s Sports Bar server contacted authorities when Ryan allegedly drank and dashed on December 19, 2018 after ordering six Jack Daniels Whiskey drinks, totaling $36. He allegedly left without paying. The case was dismissed.
Rehab Stints
This came after RadarOnline.com broke that Ryan completed a 90-day stint in rehab after relapsing on drugs. It was his third time in rehab to battle his heroin addiction.
