Amber Portwood slapped Farrah Abraham across the face on last season's Teen Mom OG reunion – but the cast members managed to top the drama this time around! From Abraham walking off stage to Maci Bookout discussing her baby daddy's substance abuse issues, RadarOnline.com can reveal exclusive secrets from this weekend's taping.
Bookout exposed her ex-fiancé Ryan Edwards' substance abuse issues on a recent episode of TMOG. During the reunion special, she continued to open up about his drug addiction. "Maci was very emotional about it," a source told RadarOnline.com. "She had strong feelings. She wants the best for Ryan. She wants him to be healed, happy and healthy."
Abraham stormed off stage during the reunion when host Dr. Drew Pinsky asked "deep" questions that "hit a nerve." "She felt she couldn't get away from it," the insider said. "She felt MTV was forcing a relationship with someone who doesn't love her. She's over it and wants people to stop talking about it."
Abraham also hit the stage with her estranged mother Debra Danielsen. "It went well," the insider said. "They hadn't talked for months. They seemed excited to get things on track. Danielsen even got to hug her granddaughter Sophia."
Although Danielsen didn't argue with her daughter, she did slam Dr. Drew for comments made on a podcast where Abraham claimed her mother could have a mental illness. "It pissed her off because she doesn't have a mental illness," the source said. "She had to straighten that out. She told him she felt betrayed. Why would he go on the air and say something like that? That was the first order. It was unprofessional and out of character. She felt he threw her under the bus for cheap publicity. He ended up apologizing."

The insider also revealed that Abraham's on-again, off-again boyfriend Simon Saran didn't attend because MTV wouldn't pay up! "Simon demanded $250,000 to show up for the reunion," the source said. "That didn't fly. He was told no. Why should he make more than anyone else?"
But a source close to Saran insists he skipped out on the reunion special because he doesn't trust MTV. "Production at Teen Mom has been very untrustworthy lately and will do anything to get ratings at this point," the source said. "He felt it was best that he stay away from that mess. He has much more to lose than anyone at the reunion if something were to happen."
A second source close to Abraham revealed MTV provided more security for the women after their physical altercation last season. "The women were separated," the insider said. "They didn't see each other at all. Because it turned into a violent situation last time, there was extreme security."
Portwood, who attended the reunion without her fiancé Matt Baier, revealed more details about their relationship issues. "They do cover the split on the show," the insider said. "Amber is a strong woman. She's got the tools she needs to be happy and healthy and go on without him. If that's her decision, that is what's best for her. She's strong enough to flourish."
As RadarOnline.com reported, Portwood called off her wedding to Baier when he failed a lie detector test after he was involved in a cheating scandal. "Matt definitely didn't go," another source close to Portwood told RadarOnline.com. "Amber was never planning on wearing her ring."
