Teen Mom OG is far from reality television, as viewers and even co-stars have called out the MTV series for manipulating storylines through editing and fake scenes! Click through to check out all the times TMOG has been busted for tricking viewers this season.
On a recent episode, Catelynn Lowell laughed along with her family as her father-in-law Butch wore an Easter bunny costume backwards. But according to her husband, she was in rehab for the holiday. "She was in rehab and I was trying to get Easter pics with Nova for her when I visited her," Tyler Baltierra wrote on Twitter. "If it's on TV it's REAL."
In the bonus clip, Maci Bookout revealed a designer flew her and her mother to London to make her a custom wedding dress. But on a recent episode, Maci goes wedding dress shopping with her mother in a bridal boutique. "This is it! This is the dress," she said. "I love this, I want it!"
But that wasn't the only staged scene Bookout was involved in. During the season premiere, Bookout complained about her drastic weight gain. When her boyfriend Taylor McKinney advised her to take a pregnancy test, it was positive. But fans were skeptical, as she sported a large baby bump before she took the test.
RadarOnline exclusively revealed the scene was staged. In February, Bookout told Us Weekly that she found out she was pregnant with her third child at the doctor.

"I was at the doctor, ironically, to get my birth control prescription refilled," she said, revealing her doctor told her she was already pregnant. "I laughed at her! I mean, she's the doctor that delivered Jayde, so I was like, 'Ha ha, that's a funny joke — but it's not really that funny!' And she was like, 'No, seriously!' And I was like, 'Oh, OK — well, give me 10 minutes to not freak out … You're wrong. You've got the wrong results, you mixed them up.' But no, she was serious!"
On the season premiere, Farrah Abraham complained that her boyfriend Simon Saran never proposed or paid her back for an engagement ring she purchased. But according to Saran, they never agreed to a proposal!
