Jenelle Evans’ bad news husband David Eason is narrowly avoiding jail time after he coughed up thousands of dollars in back child support, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.

Fired Teen Mom 2 star Eason appeared in front of Judge Melinda Crouch at 9:30 a.m. in North Carolina’s New Hanover Civil Court for a hearing with his baby mama Olivia Leedham also present alongside her lawyer.

According to a court clerk, "Mr. Eason is now current on his child support obligation."

"He paid his child support. He doesn't owe any child support of as of today.”

However, the clerk added that Eason is still required to pay child support every month.

Leedham is currently working as a hair dresser to support her 5-year-old son, Kaden, she has with Eason. According to Leedham's fellow colleague at the local hair salon, she has been struggling with Evan's husband for a long time.
