Everyone loves a good comeback story and Tara Reid is no exception! The 43-year-old flaunted a much healthier and fuller figure on the red carpet in LA Thursday night, and RadarOnlilne.com exclusively learned from a leading nutritionist that she’s gained “40 pounds of healthy weight” since this time last year. Click through seven shocking photos of Reid’s transformation from scary skinny party girl back to the blonde beauty that fans know and love!
Reid attended the Amare Magazine Event in L.A. last night — looking healthier than ever before. “Tara really was trying to make an effort to talk to everyone in the room and stay strong without having any alcohol. She ate cupcakes and alcohol-free drinks.
Radar caught up to Reid in October on the set of her upcoming film The Fifth Boro, which is being released in the Spring. According to co-star Steve Stanulis, who played the part of Reid’s husband, “We just wrapped filming a couple of weeks ago and Tara exceeded any expectations that I had of her times ten. She was phenomenal!"
Stanulis told Radar that, because of Reid’s performance on The Fifth Boro, he wants her to star in another film project he is working on, Chronicles of a Serial Killer. “I stayed with her when I was in L.A. last week and she is doing really well. We went to dinner together at the Soho house. She is in a good place.”
As fans know, Reid’s hard-partying lifestyle and frail figure overshadowed her work in recent years. Last night’s event proved that she was on the right path though! So, how much weight has Reid gained since this photo was taken?
According to celebrity nutritionist and owner of Shut Up & Move, Charlene Ciardiello, “Tara has gained 40 pounds since this photo was taken! She is putting the weight back on healthy and has muscle tone.”
“Since this time last year, Tara has gained approximately 3.5 to four pounds per month, which is awesome,” Ciardiello, who has not treated Reid, said. “Her face no longer looks depleted and, although she is not at the weight she should be, she is definitely on the right track.”
