Now, Radar can exclusively reveal the Sister Wives star has paid off the taxes he owes on his Flagstaff home with Christine!
As Radar readers know, Kody bought a plot of land in Flagstaff to split into four parcels for $820,000 in June 2018.
In addition to the purchase, Kody and Christine brought a house for $520,00, while wives Meri, Janelle and Robyn are living in rentals.
The Coconino County Treasurer's Office exclusively confirmed to Radar that Kody, Robyn and Christine failed to pay $2,063.70 in taxes for their parcel of land. The payment was due on December 31, 2018. The amount of $82,55 was added in interest, making the total payment due $2,146.25.
More Money Issues
For the second parcel of land, which has Kody, Janelle and Meri listed, $1,990.82 in taxes was due on December 31, 2018. Interest in the amount of $79.63 was been added, making the total payment due $2,070.45. More interest will accrue on both parcels if not paid by April 30, 2019.
Although the tax payment on Kody’s home with Christine in the amount of $1,418.12 was not delinquent, the Coconino County clerk confirmed the payment was not received as of April 17, 2019.
Now, Radar can reveal Kody made a payment of $1,418.12 on his home with Christine on Friday, April 19.
Real Estate Blues
The payment comes amid the family’s real estate trouble. Robyn sold her home for $619,900, while Janelle’s house was purchased for $574,900 after multiple price cuts.
Christine sold her home on Tuesday, April 2 for $599,000. But the deal fell through, as it was put back on the market. She listed the house for sale in July 2018 for $675,000. It was cut to $649,000 in September 2018, $639,000 in November 2018 and $614,900 in January 2019.
More Price Cuts
Meri’s home is also still on the market. Her house was originally listed for sale in January 2019 for $599,900. In March, it was cut to $574,900.
Better Move Fast!
Kody said on an episode that they need to sell the homes soon or else they could run out of money in months, as they are paying for his home with Christine, rent for Meri, Janelle and Robyn, and mortgage on the land.
