‘There Are Angels!’ Selma Walks The Red Carpet With Her Cane

Selma Blair glamorously walked the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscar party carrying her cane appearing at an event for the first time since announcing that she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. In a gorgeous gown with a dramatic train she waved her cane in the air making a triumphant entrance at the party the night of the Academy Awards. “I choke with the pain of what I have lost and what I dare hope for. and how challenging it is to walk around,” Blair said when she revealed she had MS. Blair, 46, wore a stunning black, white, pink and light green gown on the red carpet on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at the Vanity Fair Oscar party.
“Going out, being sociable holds a heavy price,” Blair previously said when she announced her MS diagnosis.
The Cruel Intentions star proudly raised her cane on the red carpet and shared details about her necessary accessory.

“This is love ?. @tombachikcustomizing my cane with my monogram and a real pink #diamond,” she wrote on Istagram. “How did I get so lucky? I wanted a special cane for #vanityfair dinner. So... @lyon_hearted went out and found patent leather and @bic_owen and he stitched it on. Hours of love put in. And then #tombachick made it especially magical. I burst into tears. “My brain is on fire,” Blair said about the symptoms she suffered from.
“But my smiles are genuine. This is ok. Life is an adventure with many shards of awakening,” the Legally Blonde star said when she shared the news of her MS diagnosis.
