Blair was traveling first-class from Cancun, Mexico, to Los Angeles, Calif., with her four-year-old son, Arthur Saint, when she suddenly had an outburst while drinking a glass of wine. Several reports claim that Blair may have had a reaction to mixing alcohol with prescription medications.

After the outburst, in which Blair reportedly screamed, "He burns my private parts. He won't let me eat or drink. He beats me. He's going to kill me," she was taken off the flight in a stretcher and rushed to a nearby hospital.

Blair had been reported to have secretly entered rehab this past year. But according to a source close to the actress, it wasn't a total success. Said the insider, "Selma has been off the rails for quite some time now, and it is really sad because she won't even engage with some of her close friends."

"Selma has said that everything is fine and that she has just been busy," said the source, who first met Blair through sober circles. "But for a while she has seemed far from fine."
