Disick took his longtime girlfriend and mother to Mason, 5, Penelope, 2 and five-month-old Reign on a family vacation to Mexico and a source close to the family tells RadarOnline.com exclusively that "it couldn't have come at a better time." Disick took Kardashian and the kids to Mexico for the holiday and it couldn't have come at a better time, a source close to the growing Kardashian spin-off family tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.

"She was skeptical in allowing him to take control, but she agreed."

According to the insider, "The past couple of weeks have been tough for them."

In this photo, Disick, 31, is seen looking at a copy of Architectural Digest – perhaps to get some ideas for​ the house he recently purchased in his own name.

"Kourtney really deserves this trip more than anyone because she is literally like super mom," the source tells RadarOnline.com. "As everyone knows, she is basically like a single mom that raises these kids on her own."

When Disick took his son, Mason, on an ATV beach ride, an eyewitness tells RadarOnline.com, "Mason got a kick out of going so fast near the water that he had his mouth open the whole time."

"Kourtney has been agitated all the time lately and everything was starting to make her angry," the insider adds. "Scott doesn't fully support Bruce's transition and she has to support it to keep her family together – namely to keep Kris and Bruce on non-fighting terms."

"Kourtney is constantly trying to play manager for her own family while playing pseudo-manager to her extended family and was about ready to snap. She is literally being forced to play older sister like she never has before and it has been wearing on her."
