As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Edwards was arrested on July 23 for petition to revoke, which means breaking probation from a past simple possession of heroin arrest. He was held on no bond and was given an August 6 court date. An arrest warrant exclusively obtained by RadarOnline.com revealed he missed a May 21, 2018 court date. The warrant was issued a day later on May 22, 2018. The Ashley's Reality Roundup was the first to report on the arrest.
Cops pulled over Edwards on March 12, 2017. He was issued a citation for simple possession of heroin. Officers confiscated 14 hypodermic needles, one that was loaded with heroin, and a bag with a dark substance inside. According to the citation, he confessed to police that he "has a problem."
He went to rehab after he was filmed slurring his words and falling asleep at the wheel on the way to his wedding in May 2017 on Teen Mom OG. He was arrested on March 27, 2018 for petition to revoke after he failed a scheduled drug test on January 17, 2018. He tested positive for opiates and morphine in a urine sample. He got "six months probation and five public work days with random drug tests in between," a source told RadarOnline.com.
Baby mama Maci Bookout and her husband Taylor McKinney filed restraining orders against him. Bookout claimed he threatened her while high on drugs. As for McKinney, he alleged he threatened to put a bullet in his head. The orders were granted for two years, with Bookout and McKinney's children Jayde, 3, and Maverick, 2, under the order as well. Edwards' son Bentley, 9, with Bookout was dropped from the order.
Edwards and his wife Mackenzie are expecting their first child together, a boy, in October. She exclusively told RadarOnline.com she is "doing fine." Starcasm was the first to report that Edwards was released from jail.
