In the arrest warrant exclusively obtained from Hamilton County Court in Tennessee, the City of Red Bank issued a warrant for his arrest for “violation of probation, in willful disregard of the judgment of the court, specifically as: failure to appear and/or comply with the orders of the court, after trial on May 21,2018.”
The warrant was issued for his arrest for failing to appear for his court date a day later on May 22, 2018. The warrant explained how Edwards, 30, is to be held without bond when he is detained.
Edwards was eventually arrested by the Red Bank Police Department on July 23, 2018 at 1:40pm. He will be in jail until his court date on August 6. The Ashley’s Reality Roundup was the first to report on the arrest.
The latest arrest comes after a year of legal trouble for Maci Bookout’s baby daddy. On March 12, 2017, Edwards was pulled over by police for simple possession of heroin. Fourteen hypodermic needles, one of which was loaded with heroin, and a bag tied in the center console with a dark substance inside was found during the search, a citation obtained by RadarOnline.com from Red Bank City Court read. According to the report, Edwards told police, “I have a problem.”

But, he was arrested on March 27, 2018 for petition to revoke, which means breaking probation from the March 2017 arrest. RadarOnline.com learned he failed a scheduled drug test on January 17, 2018, leading to his March 2018 arrest. He tested positive for opiates and morphine in a urine sample.
An insider close to Edwards said he “got six months probation and five public work days" with "random drug tests in between."
Bookout, her husband Taylor McKinney, and their children Jayde, 3, and Maverick, 2, have a restraining order against him for two years because of his alleged threatening behavior. In one incident, McKinney claimed he threatened to “put a bullet” in his head. Edwards’ son Bentley, 9, with Bookout was dropped from the restraining order.
