One day after officially tying the knot in a private civil ceremony, Jerry Hall and Rupert Murdoch celebrated their union with a grand, star-studded affair at a London church. However, not everyone was thrilled about the new couple saying "I do.
Murdoch, who turns 85 next week, sported a smart blue suit, while the 59-year-old blushing bride wore a pale blue Vivienne Westwood gown.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Murdoch proposed months ago after a brief courtship, and presented the former supermodel with a 20-carat marquis cut diamond ring.
But while the story may seem a fairytale to Hall and Murdoch, the bride's ex-husband Mick Jagger is said to be "absolutely staggered and horrified," a source tells the Daily Mail.
Hall and Jagger were married from 1977-1999.
That is, until media titan Murdoch exposed Jagger for fathering a lovechild while married to Hall, which led to their annulment.
"Jagger has been seething because this means that Rupert Murdoch is going to be part of the extended family, and Mick has a real problem with that," the insider continued.
Jagger and Hall have two daughters together, both of whom served as bridesmaids in the wedding alongside Murdoch's own four daughters.
This makes wedding number four for Murdoch.
