Keough, 62, went through menopause shortly after leaving the hit reality series in 2009 which left her feeling miserable and motivated to get back into shape. After losing a significant amount of weight, Keough was left with a saggy neck and face so she enlisted renowned bi-coastal Ivy League trained plastic surgeon Dr. T.Y. Steven Ip to help her.
"I performed a neck lift, facelift, quad blepharoplasty (upper and lower eyelids), and a temporal brow lift on Jeana," Dr. Ip reveals to RadarOnline.com exclusively.
The real estate agent was set on getting the work done but she tells RadarOnline.com she still had her doubts about going under the knife! "With any surgery when you are put under, not waking up is always a thought in the back of your head, but I knew I was in good hands," she said.
"I really just didn’t want to look too tight or crazy looking, like I just saw a ghost, but Dr. Ip and I talked about that a lot in the consultation and we were on the same page, so I felt good!"
Despite the risk, Keough was full speed ahead to get her face fixed. Dr. Ip detailed her main complaints. "Jeana’s biggest complaints were her neck, she had some excess skin which was beginning to crepe, her jowls had a little sag that made her feel like she always looked angry when she wasn’t, as well as the bags under her eyes."
And it turns out Keough's intuition about being in good hands was right. She talked about her results with RadarOnline.com, revealing: "I am really happy! It’s going to take a few more months to see the real results, but for being only a couple of months out, I couldn’t be more excited with how everything looks and I feel great!"
Dr. Ip agrees. "It has only been about two months, so I am excited for her to see the real results, which will only continue to improve! She feels refreshed and more confident, which is really all I could ask for."
Would she ever go under the knife again? Keough, who admits she's had a breast augmentation in her younger days, tells RadarOnline.com: "Never say never!"
