Gretchen Rossi Is Pregnant! ‘RHOC’ Alum & Fiancé Slade Expecting Baby

Gretchen Rossi is having a baby! After four years of trying to conceive, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum, 39, and fiancé, Slade Smiley, are expecting their first child together, a rep for the couple told RadarOnline.com exclusively. Click through seven photos inside their baby joy!

Rossi and Smiley’s long road to parenthood did not come easy! In a video segment aired on The Doctors, Rossi said, “After the first round of IVF when we lost 14 embryos I looked at Slade and was like ‘I just have to take a pause.’ It took a year and a half to get to the point where I was even willing to talk about it again.”
This is the moment when Rossi and Smiley found out that they were going to be parents! According to Rossi, their baby is due in July 2019.
“It’s been such an emotional journey for us. Because of that it has brought us so much closer together,” Rossi said in the emotional video.
“We are freaked out but in a good way,” Smiley said on-camera.
As RadarOnline.com fans know, Rossi’s struggle to conceive has not been easy. In April, Smiley told RadarOnline.com , “Gretchen just finished with IVF. During IVF, doctors inject the patient with hormones and that makes a patient retain water, which is why her boobs have gotten so big!”
“Gretchen and I will find out if it was a success in 30-60 days and are just so grateful for everything that we have and for the family we are building. I cannot wait to be a dad again,” Smiley said, adding, “We have not given up and are not going to until we have a child of our own!”
