Just days after announcing their split, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne reunited for a very awkward press event.

The pair arrived at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday to promote Black Sabbath's 20th anniversary celebration of Ozzfest in the fall. As Ozzy's manager, Sharon was obligated to attend.

Despite over 33 years of marriage, the couple's greeting on stage revealed just how distant they've become.

"Ozzy walked out on stage and gave Sharon the world's most uncomfortable hug from behind," a witness told PEOPLE magazine. "Sharon literally cringed as Ozzy wrapped his arm around her before taking his seat."

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the shocking split announcement came amid reports that Sharon's 67-year-old rocker husband had been having an affair with celebrity hairstylist Michelle Pugh, 45.

On Tuesday's segment of The Talk, the co-host made a valiant return after taking Monday off , sharing: "I honestly am empowered, and I have this inner strength, and I'm like, 'Right, OK, what's next? I can handle this."

Of course, Sharon admitted that she's also unsure about the future.

At this point today, have no idea what I'm going to be doing for the rest of my life," she said. "I just need time to think: 'What do I really want for the rest of my life?' Because this is like getting to the last chapter of this book. And I really need to think very carefully about where I want to go."
