Bloom just gained a whole new fan base this week after the 39-year-old actor took off all of his clothes to paddle board in Italy with girlfriend Perry!
However, RadarOnline.com has learned that his sudden decision to let it all hang out was not as sudden as it seemed!
Perry just dropped a hot new video for her latest song, "Rise," and according to an insider, it is NOT a coincidence that it came on the heels of Bloom's own big debut.
"Katy and Orlando knew exactly what they were doing when he took his clothes off," the source said.
In addition to Perry's new video release, Bloom is also about to begin promotions for his latest film, Pirates 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales, at the end of the year.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Perry's longstanding feud with nemesis Taylor Swift, 26, erupted again last month when Swift's ex, Calvin Harris, brought Perry's name into his breakup battle and accused Swift of trying to "bury" her.
Swift's new man, Tom Hiddleston, 35, famously flaunted his own talents in June, when the actor posed in his underwear for the cover of W Magazine.
Anything that Hiddleston can do, Bloom can do BIGGER!
