Hollywood and religion have always had a tricky relationship. After all, celebrities themselves are practically worshiped. Maybe these stars decided that's all the worship they needed. Check out the list below and see which stars took a hard pass on religion.

George Clooney was raised in a Catholic home but he once noted his disbelief in a higher power.

Brad Pitt shares more than the Oceans 11 franchise with Clooney. Despite a strict, religious upbringing, Pitt once stated that he "oscillates between agnosticism and atheism.”

Like her baby daddy, Angelina Jolie considered herself an atheist. The actress once said "there' doesn't need to be a God for me."

High School Musical star, Zac Efron admitted to being raised agnostic by his parents during an interview with Rolling Stone.

Bruce Willis was raised Lutheran but eventually backed away from organized religion. He once stated that modern religion was a dying form.

Daniel Radcliffe admitted to being an atheist during his run as Harry Potter. Perhaps he was more interested in magic?

Seth MacFarlane is an atheist and he isn’t afraid to show it! The Family Guy creator considers himself more of a critical thinker that would rather keep up with this day and age over believing in some “invisible man living in the sky” that was made up through legends, according to an interview with Esquire Magazine.
