Nicole Kidman’s looks have certainly changed over the years. Sure, the Oscar winning actress has been in the business for years, but she seems to have an ever-changing face. The Australian beauty has continued to radiate both on the screen and off, but has she had cosmetic help? It’s no secret that Kidman’s face has drastically changed since she burst onto the scene in the 1980s, but the changes have become significantly more noticeable. Her skin almost defies nature, and her face has certainly shown signs of Botox use at the very least. Are the rumors true? Has Nicole undergone plastic surgery over the years? Find out below!
1. A Young Actress From Down Under
Before the awards, before the marriages, Kidman was just an up-and-coming actress from Australia. The youthful Kidman sported a much more wholesome look with her curly red hair and a slightly fuller face than fans have grown accustomed to.
2. Becoming A Star
Kidman’s piercing blue eyes certainly stood out as she became one of Hollywood’s most bankable stars. She entered the ‘90s with her curly hair and blemishes, but as her status changed, so did her appearance.
3. Mrs. Cruise
A notable change for the star was her marriage to superstar Tom Cruise. But her appearance seemed to change as well. Her early trademark curls became less noticeable.
4. Ruby Red Lips
One of Kidman’s notable trademarks throughout the year has been her ruby red lips. Juxtaposed with complexion, Kidman became a bona fide beauty.
5. Back To The Curls
It was 1993, and the curls came back for the actress. However, she looked much polished than she did in the ‘80s.

Kidman kept her curls for the 1994 Oscars, but there was a noticeable difference in her eyebrows. Was it cosmetic surgery? Or a change in makeup?

Kidman continued her trademark ruby red lipped look, but this time around, there were some glaring differences in her face. While never acknowledged by Kidman herself, one can’t help but notice her more defined cheekbones and angular nose in 1994 as compared to the previous year.

The former Mrs. Tom Cruise began sporting an all new haircut and had a more defined look in 1996 as opposed to earlier years.
9. Late ’90s Nicole
Coming off the classic, Practical Magic, Kidman remained as stunning as ever. But this was just the calm before the storm of her ever-changing face.
10. Lip Fillers?
Did her lips become more plump in 2001? Were injections involved? Were they simply swollen from all the kissing with Ewan McGregor in Moulin Rouge? They certainly looked different but whatever the case may be, they certainly worked for her.

Sometime around 2004 Kidman’s face seemed a little more full than usual. Her lips, cheeks and chin were a lot more plump than years prior.

The star began to look like a different version of herself around 2007 … with her perfect skin and angular features, she was looking as great as ever.
14. Aging Gracefully
Just a year later, Kidman seemingly changed her make up routine and showed little signs of cosmetic enhancements. Yet the Oscar winner still looked amazing.
15. Winning Awards and Serving Looks
2013 was a big year for Kidman as she was nominated for numerous awards for her performances in The Paperboy and Hemingway & Gellhorn. She stunned on the red carpet — even at 46. Interestingly, it was in 2013 that she admitted to using Botox but called it "an unfortunate move," before allegedly going "completely natural."

Were the crow’s feet noticeable? A little. But overall she still looked great.
17. Not Saying It’s Botox, But…
OK, she looked a little … peculiar? Her eyes were almost struggling to stay wide open. Was it Botox again? Maybe, maybe not. But something definitely changed in her face.
18. 50s And Still Slaying
The star was clearly trying to hide her wrinkles. Although one is quite noticeable on her nose. Kidman was nearing 50 yet still looked like a bombshell. It’s no wonder that the plastic surgery rumors persisted.
19. A Big Little Lie?
She starred in the popular Big Little Lies, but perhaps her features were a little lie in themselves. Her face began to be unrecognizable.
20. Still A Knockout
While she was far from that curly haired redhead, Kidman is obviously a knockout well into her 50s. Her fluctuating facial appearance over the years may have given way to rumors of plastic surgery, but the star has remained a stunning Hollywood figure.
