Nothing can stop Jenelle Evans. The troubled Teen Mom 2 star called 9-1-1 in hysterics, claiming her husband pinned her to the ground and almost broke her collar bone, but even that accusation isn’t going to stop MTV from filming her dramatics, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.
Evans, 26, made a tearful call where she told the operator that David Eason “just assaulted me. He pinned me down on the ground in the yard. I think I heard my collarbone crack. I can’t move my arm.”
Despite taking herself to the hospital after the fight, Evans returned home to Eason and gushed over him on subsequent social media posts. She declined to press charges against Eason.
And the drama had no affect on the network, an insider snitched to RadarOnline.com. “MTV loves the drama of Jenelle,” the source spilled.
“The visceral reaction people have against her drives crazy ratings,” the source told RadarOnline.com about Evans’ popularity.
Evans’ husband was fired after his homophobic rants earlier in the year and was forbidden from filming with her, but the insider said that didn’t change the network’s decision to keep her on.
“Jenelle’s drama is the only drama on Teen Mom 2 that people tune in for,” the source told RadarOnline.com. “It is the reason why she’s on after she pulled a gun on camera. And they fired David and not Jenelle too. She is ratings gold.”
The source told RadarOnline.com that Farrah Abraham’s departure from Teen Mom OG had the network execs concerned that viewers would abandon the show, securing Evans’ job even more.
“They’re worried that Bristol isn’t going to bring the drama Farrah did so they won’t lose Jenelle.”
