Minnesota authorities held a press conference on Friday, September 11, 2015, and gave an update on the death of the Short family, revealing that all five victims were shot to death.

Cops said Brian Short, 45, was found in the garage when police arrived at the home for a "welfare check" after friends reported them missing.
"Other than Brian Short. Alll other family victims found slain in their bedrooms. Gun recovered," Paul Bloom of Fox 9 News Tweeted.
Brian shot his wife Karen, 48; son Cole, age 17; and their daughters, Madison, 15, and Brooklyn, 14, according to new reports. The Star Tribune reported that he shot them all before turning the gun on himself.
The police said they would not reveal a motive for the murders, but mentioned Brian's business.
As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Brian was facing a massive defamation lawsuit in recent months -- and received bad news in the case just days before the murder-suicide that left him and his entire family dead.
Brian was sued in the state of New Jersey, but on August 28, his attempt to have the case dismissed was denied, and the judge ruled that it should be moved to his home state of Minnesota.
Their $2 million home on Lake Minnetonka was the site of the crime, but Officer Dan Smith with the South Lake Minnesota Police Department told RadarOnline.com on the afternoon of Sept. 11 that officers are no longer at the home.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Short, his company AllNurses.com, and several commenters and employees of the site, were sued by Achieve Test Prep and East Coast Test Prep back in April.
Officer Smith told RadarOnline.com that all five bodies are with the Medical Examiner and they will be released to the next of kin. What do you think about the horrific Minnesota murders? Sound off in comments below.
