Inside The Twisted Sacrifices Meghan Markle Must Make To Become Royalty
May 21 2018, Updated 7:06 p.m. ET
It might be every little girl’s fantasy to become a princess, but it’s not all wine and roses. When Meghan Markle marries Prince Harry this weekend, she’ll be forced to sacrifice several key parts of her life and lifestyle. Learn what they are in this RadarOnline.com gallery
To start, Markle will have to give up the one thing that has been with her throughout her life – her name! She will forevermore be addressed as either Her Royal Highness the Princess of Wales or the Duchess of Sussex.
One of the biggest sacrifices Markle, 36, will have to make is her acting career. The actress has spent the past seven years as a lead on the USA Network show Suits. In her final episode, her character married her on-screen love, and presumably lived happily ever after.
Markle recently shut down her lifestyle blog, The Tig, after three years. "What began as a passion project (my little engine that could) evolved into an amazing community of inspiration, support, fun and frivolity," she shared online. "You've made my days brighter and filled this experience with so much joy."
She’s also saying goodbye to social media, including her Instagram account.

Not many knew that Markle has a clothing line in Canada. Make that, HAD a clothing line.
Speaking of Canada, Markle will be forced to give up her Toronto home, ahead of a permanent move to London.
Perhaps worst of all, along with saying goodbye to her home, she’s having to say goodbye to her prized pooch.
Bogart, a shepherd-lab mix, is staying behind, and will live with a friend of hers. Reportedly, the dog is just too old and too big to make the global move.
But beagle Guy is already adjusting to the royal life at Kensington Palace, finding it not so "ruff." We pay for juicy info! Do you have a story for RadarOnline.com? Email us at tips@radaronline.com, or call us at (866) ON-RADAR (667-2327) any time, day or night.
