Matt Damon is pulling out all the stops to save his marriage – even if that mean carrying his wife's purse!
This Tuesday, the actor was seen pampering wife Luciana Barroso with a ritzy date night in New York City.
The romantic outing came after RadarOnline.com reported the duo was attending couple's therapy due to their growing marriage problems.
Damon, 47, and Barroso, 42, have been married since 2005, but recently their issues have started to take a toll on their relationship.
Their friendship with ex-couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner is actually one of their biggest problems, claimed a source. Damon reportedly was there for his actor pal during the breakup, while Barroso was shocked at the way Affleck treated heartbroken Garner.
"Matt and Luciana have always been solid," an insider told RadarOnline.com earlier this month. "But the Ben-Jen battle has left them divided,"
"Their therapist has taught them skills on how to deal with problems as they arise before they become death traps," the insider added.
"Matt says he wishes he'd done it sooner!"
