Malia Obama is out of hiding! This weekend, the 19-year-old former first daughter was spotted walking around NYC rocking a new set of braids and a casual grungy outfit. It's the first time she's been pictured in the Big Apple ever since she finished her first wild year at Harvard! It's summer break for Malia Obama and the formerly wild teen is back to NYC to play!
This weekend, Barack Obama and Michelle's eldest daughter was spotted running errands around the city, boasting a cool new hairdo and athletic style.
She carried a water bottle and wore no makeup as she headed to her local gym.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Malia is currently dating wealthy English-born boy toy Rory Farquharson — whom she met at Harvard. Barack, 56, and Michelle, 54, apparently approve, and even sent the hunk a letter apologizing for the media attention he will likely receive now that he's dating their daughter.
While Malia has been seen showing steamy PDA with Rory inside school grounds, she's also been pictured with him in NYC!

Before meeting Rory, Malia was known for her hard-partying ways and wild child lifestyle. She was once bashed for twerking at a Washington D.C. concert and later caught head-banging at Lollapalooza.
At one point, she was also photographed next to a bong, and caught dancing at an Amsterdam nightclub.
Eventually, dad Barack had her monitored!
Her little sister Sasha, 16, is now the party queen of the family.
