Madonna and estranged son Rocco Ritchie were spotted in London this week, enjoying their first mother-son date in months — see the movie theater excursion.

Madonna and Rocco were pictured out at The Electric Cinema in Notting Hill, where they caught the new "Batman v. Superman" movie.

The two seemed happy on their outing together, and left the cinema amicably. They then returned (in the same car!) to Madonna's London home.

As previously reported, the 57-year-old and her son, 15, have been estranged ever since he refused to come home to the United States over Christmas, opting instead to stay with his father, Guy Ritchie, 47, across the pond.

After several heated months of court injunctions and international fights, the family finally came to an agreement.

Of course,in order to do so, lawyers for Madonna and her ex battled it out in a New York courtroom last month to determine where Rocco would live.
Madonna is seen arriving back at her london home after a bike ride with her security.
During the nasty hearing, the judge ordered the parties to come up with their own agreement on the matter of custody. In the wake of the court's mandate, Madonna finally bowed to her son's wishes to remain with his father in London, where Mother's Day recently passed.

"Rocco wants to be with his dad but she won't give up being his mother," a source told the Daily Mail of the situation. "She won't stop fighting to try to make sure Rocco is kept safe and has what he needs. She can't understand why it has come to this. Her world has been shattered."
